What is a Properly Developed Website?
There are several things that must be considered reguarding having your website properly developed. I will list just a few of these below.
- A properly developed website will conform to common and contemporary conventions. This means, it should look reasonably "modern" and should provide what the current website visitors will expect to see.
- A properly developed website will include all of the basic, on-site SEO markup to make sure it that its pages will be properly INDEXED by search engines.
- A properly developee website MUST be 100% screen-width responsive. This means is should look good and perform well for ALL devices that are being used to browse it.
- A properly developed website will include all of the customary pages that the target will be looking for.
- A properly developed website should include a FAQs (frequently asked questions) page.
- A properly developed website should provide a on-page search function if the website contains LOTS of content. (This is not necessary with smaller sites).
- A properly developed website should include a simple contact form and if the site offers free estimates as a part of it's services, then a request and estimate form as well.
- A properly developed website will always make a priority to present the business' marketing message.
- A properly developed website should present an obvious and "sticky" and compelling call to action.
What is meant by Qualified Traffic?
Qualfied Website Traffic is the only traffic (visitors) to you website that will be interested in taking the action steps that you want them to take.
You could get a million visitors to your website a day and it can result in you getting ZERO leads.
How?
For example, you sell 100% Grade A organic beef, and you got a miliion people looking at your website ... but they were all vegetarians.
Vegetarians would not be buying your beef, unless their conscience and budget would enable them to buy it as a gift for someone else.
- You must have a way of getting your TARGET to see your website!
What is meant by Effective Conversion?
Even when you do the first two steps PERFECTLY, you can have problems turning your website's visitors into website leads.
A person looking at your website is a visitor or a prospect.
Only when they contact you via phone or form do they become a LEAD.
- This is why you must have an Effective Conversion Strategy for your website!
